• Behind the Wheel 50 Hours Practice Plus Drive Test ($2999)

  Do you need time to practice your driving either to meet the Colorado State requirement for 50 Hours or just to be fully prepared?
  

  The Behind-the-Wheel 50 Hours Practice Program Plus the Drive Test offers you the best possible training since you will be “practicing” under the guidance of a professional driving instructor in a specially equipped DriveSafe car and getting out frequently to improve more rapidly. A DMV-issued Permit is required.

  The Behind-the-Wheel 50 Hours Practice Program Plus the Drive Test  is 50 total hours of practice completed in 25 drives in a DriveSafe vehicle.   Two Hours Behind the Wheel

  New drivers benefit from additional driving instruction to prepare them for driving alone.  Instruction can be environment or situation specific like city, mountain, or highway driving. Do you want your student to learn to drive at night, in the snow or rain?

  Perfect  for adults who need to refresh their driving skills. Have you been experiencing difficulties in certain situations or been through a traumatic driving experience?

  Two-hours of instruction is one-on-one with a professional instructor. Some students even use the lesson to prepare for the driving test. 

  The drive will be tailored to the needs of the student. Greater Value Tip:  Drives can always be purchased in two-hour increments; however there is a price break if you purchase the Behind the Wheel Six program as a three drive package.

   

• One Hour Special Focus Drive ($79)

  Need help with night driving? Unsure about mountain driving challenges? Need to parallel park or want an introduction to a stick shift vehicle?

  A one hour driving lesson with a professional driver's education instructor can polish up skills, focus on a specific driving need such as parallel parking, work on challenges in a certain driving environment or even prep for skills tested on the driver's test.

  Manual transmission training is available at an additional fee on the one hour drive. However, we recommend at least a two hour lesson for a student interested in learning to drive a stick shift. We also recommend that they already know how to drive before learning the stick.  Call our Managers to discuss stick training and the additional cost. 

  Value Tip: Our Behind the Wheel Two gives you two hours of training for only an additional $50.

  A tremendous value and potentially life saving training experience! Defensive Skills Day covers skid control, driving "impaired" with drunk goggles, accident avoidance techniques, emergency stopping and car control, hands-on car maintenance and much more. Working one-on-one with instructors in their own vehicles, students practice maneuvers that cannot be taught during on-street lessons. Snacksand beverages are included.

  Take your Driver's Test with us! Students and adults can complete the drive test portion of their licensing at any one of our conveniently located Centers. The benefits for you are convenience (we have Centers located throughout the metropolitan area), often little to no wait time for scheduling (most tests can be scheduled within 24 hours at one of our Centers) and a non-stressful environment.  We are friendly and provide great customer service!

  Drive tests are scheduled by appointment. Our fee covers a single drive test. If you need to re-take your test you will need to purchase another one. (Note: Payment must be made in advance with credit card or cash only.)
  

• Behind the Wheel Two Plus Drive Test ($189)

   

  Two hour, one-on-one behind the wheel driving lesson with a professional driving instructor in a DriveSafe vehicle. This instruction is perfect for adults or teens who need to refresh their driving skills before the driving test.  The Driver’s Test in Colorado tests for over 100 items that most experienced drivers need to relearn. Includes permit test.  This class will often qualify for adults who need to reduce their points.  Discuss this with a DriveSafe manager.   Once students get their permit, they can schedule a two hour, one-on-one behind-the-wheel lesson with a professional driving instructor. Students will learn the fundamentals of safe driving and road management.

  Ten-session, 30 hour Classroom Course covering much more training than is required by the State on concepts critical to becoming a safe driver including driving in adverse conditions, the impact of alcohol on driving, understanding the zone of control, space cushion management and much more.

  Students take classes in any order, as long as Session 10 is saved for last. 

  We strongly recommend completing six-hours Behind-the- Wheel instruction (this is a legal requirement for most teens). During the six hours Behind-the-Wheel instruction students put into practice what they have learned during the classes.  Our professionally trained driving instructors are comfortable challenging students and exposing them to more complex areas such as major arterials, Capitol Hill, downtown, mountains, night driving, etc.  This is difficult for most parents.

• Written Permit Test ($29)

  Written Permit Test

  The permit test is included for free in our Comprehensive and Driver Awareness programs, but anyone wishing a permit test only is welcome to take it at a DriveSafe center for only $29. This is a single test fee. If you fail this test the first time, you can retake the test that same day or return another day at an additional $25 fee. You can only take the permit test with us two times; the third test MUST be taken at the DMV.

• Home Pickup One ($30)

  Do you need help getting to and from your behind-the-wheel lesson? Or maybe you just need the convenience of a home pickup. Our home pickup program takes care of the hassle of getting to and from your driving lesson with a pre-scheduled lesson that begins and ends at your home or an agreed upon location. Our professional drive instructor will meet the student for the lesson, complete the lesson and return to the pickup location all for a nominal cost. Add this to any lesson package. This is our single drive Home Pickup package including one pickup and dropoff.

Our home pickup program takes care of the hassle of getting to and from your driving lessons with pre-scheduled lessons that begin and end at your home or an agreed upon location.

  Our professional drive instructor will meet the student for the lesson, complete the lesson and return to the pickup location all for a nominal cost. Add this to any lesson package. This is our three drive Home Pickup package including three pickups and dropoffs
